What is MacMikMod? MacMikMod is a Macintosh version of MikMod and this Mac version is a very basic Amiga MOD music player. MacMikMod seems to support .mod and .s3m files. It does not seem to support .it, .xm, .mid, .med and it even freezes completely when tested with a .xm file, altough the ReadMe file lists this format as supported. Another lacking feature is a playlist. You can only open 1 song file at a time. It's also a shame it requires a PPC CPU, when back in 1995, many users were still on 68K. It should have been compiled as a FAT application (68K + PPC).
