The Big Boom! Mac OS
BOOM is an arcade game in the grand tradition, bringing the playability and feel of the glorious 8-bit consoles on the Mac. As a space marine your mission is to penetrate 8 alien infested areas, each one divided in 10 sub-zones, eliminate all enemies using your bombs and finally kick the Big Alien Boss back to where he came from. BOOM is a BomberMan type of game for Macintosh but features even more features than the latter and is slightly themed with Doom characters/ennemies. BOOM features 80 genuine levels of action-filled fun, unique additions and catchy background music. BOOM can be played on single player style or with a friend.

Games have never been Apple's forte, at least not until very recently. Here lie a few games from the dark pre-OS X era, fighters of a desperate battle for relevance with an audience more concerned with Quark than Quake.
