Shooting game that has you protecting your shelter against zombies in a post apocalyptic scenario by making use of an extensive arsenal

Zombie Apocalypse is a shooting game that features a rather familiar scenario: some disaster has turned everyone into zombies, yet some people survive and have to protect their shelter against hoards of enemies.

Defend your base against numerous zombies that come in waves

Zombie Apocalypse comes with 45 different levels and every time you start a new one, the game gives you a story update and presents the new types of enemies. Note that Zombie Apocalypse comes with 7 types of zombies and some of them are stronger than the others.

Right off the bat, you arsenal is comprised from a single gun: to not waste ammunition or time, you should try to get the zombies out by aiming for the head.

If some of them pass through your line of shot, your shelter gets more vulnerable, until it is ultimately overcome: you can see the current shelter status in the top left corner of the game’s window. Your job is not to let that happen.

Extend your arsenal and upgrade your shelter by using in-game currency

After each completed level, Zombie Apocalypse provides statistical data about your performance and also gives you a cash reward for getting through the level, and one for the number of killed zombies ($1 per zombie).

The in-game currency can be used for getting new weapons, upgrading old ones, or buying ammunition.

At the same time, you get to improve the barricades, upgrade the shelter, or build machine-gun towers that will be very useful as you get to more powerful zombie types and difficult levels.

Note that you get to play the same level as many times as you like, until you get enough resources to buy all the ammunition and upgrades that you need to complete more challenging levels.

Shooting game that keeps you entertained yet does not put a high value on precision

Worth mentioning is that Zombie Apocalypse does not come with any customization options, yet you should adjust the resolution, image quality level, and window mode depending on the available system resources.

Moreover, even if the Zombie Apocalypse gameplay can be quite addictive, take into consideration that the shooting does not feel very realistic and aiming your gun with precision can be quite difficult.
